05-11-2009 6:53:25 PM ALA Check our the new "Clinics" link on our website to find clinic offerings. For those members that are interested, we are putting together some golf clinics. We need your input on helping us determine the following: 1. Tell us if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced player. 2. Which day of the week would you be willing to attend a clinic (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc..). 3. What time of the day would you be able to attend: morning, afternoon or evening. Please post your feedback here by May 17, 2009. Thanks. 05-09-2009 8:29:28 PM ALA Thank you to all that submitted your comments on whether the Wacky Women's Golf Group should make formal application to joining USGA. Based on your feedback, it is overwhelming that we should not. Members like the fact that we are not a serious golf group and want to keep that spirit of the organization towards that end. I encourage any member who wants to get a GHIN to simply join either AGA or AWGA to obtain one. I myself have had a GHIN for a couple of years and I renew my membership with AGA each year. Patty Itchoak (WWGG President) 05-01-2009 3:14:58 PM ALA Thanks for your feedback - We are in the process now of putting this series of workshops together. Look for more announcements soon. Are you interested in having a 'Golf Conditioning' workshop? We have a member who is a physical therapist willing to conduct such a workshop. Things like proper stretching techniques and other golf conditioning exercises will be shown and discussed. We need to hear from you by May 9th on your interest before we set up a day and time for it to take place. Please post your interest here. Thanks.
